Can I try Denman Fitness out before becoming a member?
Yes. If you are a Vancouver resident and haven’t used our facility before, click on the special offer and we will arrange a three-day complimentary pass for you.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. We offer our Freedom and Short Term membership as well as our yearly membership. We will be happy to help you decide which is the best membership for you. No pressure.
Is there an initiation fee?
Yes. But the small initiation fee means a lower monthly rate.
Are there any discounted rates (ie. student/senior)?
Yes! We pride ourselves on having affordable membership options for all. 15% off both student and senior memberships. Present your ID when you sign up.
How do I get started?
Walk in and sign up. It’s that easy. We do recommend setting up your initial consultation and program set-up with one of our trainers to get you off on the right track. If possible book this one or two days in advance.

Where are you located?
1731 Comox Street. Just off of Denman Street. We are right next to the Coast Plaza Hotel entrance. Just look for the sign above our doorway. OPEN MAP
Do you have parking?
We include two hours free parking for our members. Drive into the parkade just to the right of our entrance. Bring up your parking ticket and we will validate it for you.
Do I have to register for the group fitness classes?
For the most part, no. Some of our most popular classes such as Flex and Interval Circuit, though, are limited to a certain number of students. You may reserve a space any time the day prior to the class. You may also show up for the class without reserving and get in if there is space available.
Can I bring a guest?
Guests are always welcome at the club. If your guest lives in Vancouver and qualifies for our trial membership we will be happy to extend a trial pass to them. If they don’t qualify, we do have a discounted day rate for a guest that comes with a member.
Can I put my membership on hold?
We have both hold options as well as medical freezes available with our memberships. *Available on our auto billing memberships only.
Is my membership transferable?
Yes. Our One and Two Year Plus and Freedom memberships both have a one time no charge transfer clause. A transfer fee is applicable if there is more than one transfer. *Available on our auto billing memberships only.
